Business coaching agendas are personal, being defined at the intersection of the individual with their business context. However, recurring themes are:
- Role transition, in particular from functional specialist to general manager
- Developing leadership style
- Delivering business transformation
- Personal and professional values alignment.
I monitor the impact of a business coaching programme on the individual and their organisation through 3 month and 6 month follow up meetings. Good examples of impact would be where my individual client has:
- Completed a business transformation over a multi-year period
- Made the transition to a new senior role
- Decided to confront their personal truth and managed their exit from the company
- Grown comfortable inhabiting the space conferred by their new, senior role.
